San Diego City, Cosumnes River, San Bernardino Valley cause shake-up in CCCMBCA Poll

RIVERSIDE - San Diego City, Cosumnes River, San Bernardino Valley were the biggest positive movers in this week's CCCMBCA poll.

San Diego City, winners of six straight, climbed to No. 11 this week, eight spots higher than two weeks ago. San Bernardino Valley which began the season ranked sixth in the state and then tumbled to 25th is back inside the top 15 at No. 13 after impressive wins over Ventura and East Los Angeles last week. Meanwhile, Cosumnes River moved nine slots to No. 12 this week. The Hawks have won six straight after consecutive losses to Las Positas and Sequoias.

At the top of the poll, San Francisco City, one of four unbeaten teams, remains locked in at No. 1 for the third straight poll. Fullerton managed to squeeze past Santa Rosa into the No. 2 ranking. Santa Rosa is at No. 3 after another loss to San Francisco City. Citrus maintained its No. 4 ranking as did Las Positas at No. 5, West Valley at No. 6, Modesto at No. 7 and West LA at No. 8.

Cerritos climbed a slot to No. 9 after upsetting Santiago Canyon. Sequoias moved five spots getting the Giants back inside the top 10 at No. 10. 

Mt. San Antonio fell to No. 15 after losing to Santiago Canyon which also fell after a stunning loss to No. 25 Palomar. 

Four new programs managed to move into this week's poll, led by 8-1 Sierra at No. 18; 8-3 Cabrillo at No. 21; and No. 25 Marin (8-3) and No. 25 Foothill (9-3).
