Tech Hub Resources
The 3C2A Tech Hub portal is an online tool to assist institutions with compliance of 3C2A legislation. Phase one implementation of the new Tech Hub includes a new Form 3 system that automatically populates information for student-athletes who complete an online Form 1.
Access to the Tech Hub is managed by the designated Athletic Director (AD) at the 3C2A member college. Requesting authorized users is within the profile of the AD and all requests are processed by the 3C2A state office.
The California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) provides institutions the ability to determine and assign access to the 3C2A Tech Hub. Institutions should take care to protect data by providing access as needed to administer actions of the institution and the association.

Injury/Illness Waiver Request – Coming in early 2025!
The first of the associations appeals is being built for online use by the membership with an anticipated date for use in mid-January of 2025. Until this time, please note there is not a way for institutions to submit this appeal online and we are asking that colleges await the new system to process their appeals. This means not sending a paper appeal to the Commissioners for Injury/Illness waivers and holding on to them until the online appeal process is available. Please note that if you have a student-athlete who is transferring at mid-year and requires a decision on an Injury/Illness waiver the paper appeal can be utilized in those specific cases.
Caused by Data Entry Error
We have been receiving emails regarding not being able to locate student-athlete who submitted an online Form 1. Please be sure before a student-athlete clicks submit, they have selected the correct college and sport. If you still do not see the student-athlete populate in the “Student-Athlete” tab of the sports Form 3 please email the Tech Hub email.
Head Coach Didn’t Receive a Form 3 Workflow Email
Question: Can institution reroute a Form 3 Workflow that is pending Head Coach approval? They didn’t get the email requesting pending their approval…HELP!
Answer: Yes. The Athletic Director can pull up the information within the Tech Hub portal under the APPROVAL HISTORY tab within the sports Form 3. Please utilize the below User Guide to navigate this process.
Question: A Head Coach has suddenly gone out on leave and the Head Coach did not approve a pending Form 3 Workflow. How can the institution move that workflow along on their behalf?Answer: The Athletic Director can pull up the information within the Tech Hub portal under the APPROVAL HISTORY tab within the sports Form 3. Please utilize the below User Guide to navigate this process.
Question: The Head Coach contact in the portal had the wrong email address and the Head Coach didn’t get the Form 3 Workflow. Can it be resent to the Head Coach?
Answer: Please update their email so future workflows go to the correct email address. The below User Guide will show the institution how to access the information that went to the incorrect email address for the Head Coach to approve the workflow.

Eligibility Processes
Note, in the new system institutions will no longer data enter student-athlete information. The student-athletes information comes from their completion of the online Form 1 and auto populates to the new online Form 3 of sports that the institution have activated in the Sports Offered section of the portal.
