California Community College Athletic Association
The name of the governing body responsible for oversight of intercollegiate athletics at California community colleges is the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A). The purpose of the 3C2A is to establish and oversee the enforcement of the rules and regulations and to guide the administration of the intercollegiate athletic programs of the California community colleges. The membership organization functioning under the jurisdiction of the Boaard is the California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A). The 3C2A Board of Directors serves as the ultimate authority and provides operational oversight of the 3C2A. The Board is the policy-making body of the organization and, as such, approves all changes to the 3C2A Constitution. The 3C2A Board of Directors defines the direction of the 3C2A, supervises the 3C2A Executive Director, and manages the 3C2A finances. |
