SOCAL REGIONAL PLAYOFF BRACKET
All 2025-26 regular season, the defending 3C2A state champion Mt. San Antonio College Mounties had a target on their backs. But they proved throughout the non-conference and South Coast Conference schedule to be the No. 1 team in the final regular California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCWBCA) State Top 25.
Mt. SAC (27-1 overall) was second in the state in defense and fourth in offense and it resulted in an average winning margin of 36.2 points per game.
The regular season ends with a shocker as MiraCosta's bid for an undefeated season ends with Palomar ending the Spartans' 27-game win streak, 76-61, and grabbing a share of the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship.
Folsom Lake also closes in a flourish by knocking of San Joaquin Delta, 71-67, to capture the Big 8 crown on the final day of the season. Despite the victory, it is Delta that secures the #1 NorCal seed and is ranked #2 on the final rankings with FLC taking the #3 position.
Orange Empire Conference champion Irvine Valley climbs to #4, Western State North champ Moorpark falls to #5, Bay Valley first-place Laney stays at #6, Orange Coast's great RPI has it catapult seven spots into the Top 10 at #7, MiraCosta's bubble bursts a little in slipping to #8, Central Valley champ Fresno City bolts into the top ladies group at #9, and Santa Rosa JC rounds out the elite at #10.
Fourteen teams from the South are part of the elite 25. Santa Barbara City had one of the biggest leaps to #14 while Sierra makes it back on the rankings at #21.
The 2026 Regional Playoffs begin on Wednesday, Feb. 25 for Round 1, then Round 2 on Saturday, Feb. 28 followed by the Regional Finals on Mar. 7. The 3C2A State Championships take place Mar. 12, 14-15 at College of the Sequoias.
