MVP Frost headlines 3C2A Men’s All-State Tournament team
SANTA CRUZ - Golden West won its ninth consecutive – and its 33rd overall – 3C2A state championship at Merced College Nov. 22, and Rustler goalkeeper-extraordinaire Boston Frost was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, the California Community College Water Polo Coaches Association (CCCWPCA) recently announced.
The sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand recorded 28 saves (67%) in the tournament’s three games, including nine of 15 Orange Coast shots in the championship and 15 in the state semifinal against Long Beach City.
