2014 Rankings
The CCCAA/CCCFCA Regional Football Poll is a service of the California Community College Athletic Association and the California Community Colleges Football Coaches Association. The poll is recognized as the official regional state ranking and will be used for selection of post-season and bowl game participants.
Entering into the final week of play San Mateo (8-1) jumps to the No.1 spot in the NCFC Northern Division ranks after American River suffered their first loss on the season to No.4 Butte (8-1). Undefeated West Hills (9-0) remains No.1 in the NCFC American Division.
For the fourth poll in a row, American River College (8-0) holds the No.1 football rank in the NCFC National Division. They face a strong opponent in defending State champions, Butte College (6-2), this weekend. Riverside (7-1) keeps the No.1 rank in the SCFA National Division after defeating Long Beach (6-2) over the weekend.
In the American Divisions West Hills (8-0) and Victor Valley (8-0) remain No.1 in the Northern and Southern CA respectively.
Riverside (6-1) takes over the top rank in the SCFA Northern Division after defeating Mt. San Antonio (6-2) over the weekend, 28-24. Mt. SAC drops down to No.3 behind Long Beach City (6-1). In the North, American River (7-0) remains undefeated and holds the No.1 spot in the National Division as the only unbeaten team. San Mateo (6-1) and San Francsico (6-1) are right on their heels as the two and three ranked teams respectively.
In the American Divisions West Hills (7-0) holds the Northern CA No.1 rank and Victor Valley (7-0) stays on top in the South.
There are some new No.1's in this week's regional football polls. After a game between last week's two top ranked Northern CA teams, American River (5-0) defeated San Mateo (4-1), 24-14, to take the top spot in the North. CSM falls to No.3 behind Santa Rosa (5-0). Southern CA had a showdown of their own between the two top teams, with Long Beach City (5-0) handing Mt San Antonio (4-1) their first loss of the season, 41-38. LBCC is now the new No.1 with Mt. SAC ranked two and Fullerton remaining No.3.
Through week four of the regular season, San Mateo (4-0) and Mt. San Antonio (4-0) still hold the No.1 rankings for their respective regions. Both teams have their hands full next week as they take on the No.2 teams in the North and South. CSM travels to American River (4-0) and Mt. San Antonio plays Long Beach City (4-0) in showdowns of the top ranked teams.
In the American Divisions, West Hills (4-0) remains No.1 in the NCFC and Victor Valley (4-0) takes the No.1 rank in the SCFA American Division.
Three weeks into the season, the first CCCAA/CCCFCA regional poll has been released with San Mateo (3-0) narrowly leading Northern CA over San Francisco (3-0) and Mt. San Antonio (3-0) leading the way in the Southern CA National Divisions.
In the American Divisions, West Hills (3-0) leads in the NCFC and Southwestern (3-0) has the No.1 rank in the SCFA American Division.
