3C2A Partners with Opendorse to Expand NIL Access and Insights
Sacramento, Calif. - The California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) has announced a new partnership with Opendorse, the leading Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) technology, data, and service provider.
Through this partnership, 3C2A student-athletes will gain access to a branded NIL Marketplace where fans, alumni, and local businesses can connect with them directly for compliant opportunities. Athletes will also be able to discover and complete deals with brands of all sizes, with disclosure and compliance tracking built in to give member institutions clear visibility into NIL activity.
Opendorse will also work alongside 3C2A leadership on data and insights specific to NIL at the two-year level. Opendorse already partners with several 3C2A member colleges, and that experience will help guide how the association supports its schools as more community college athletes pursue NIL opportunities.
"As the college landscape continues to evolve, we are thrilled to partner with Opendorse as the 3C2A's Official NIL Marketplace and the opportunities it creates for our student-athletes," 3C2A Executive Director Jennifer Cardone said. "We are excited for our student-athletes to maximize their NIL potential, successfully navigate the NIL space, and prepare themselves for life after their time at the California community college level."
"Working with an association gives us a chance to support athletes at every member school, not just a few," said Jake Daugherty, Director, Collegiate Partnerships at Opendorse. "The 3C2A is committed to getting this right, and we are glad to bring our data, education, and experience in the two-year space to help them do it."
The 3C2A joins a growing nationwide network of two-year colleges and associations partnering with Opendorse.
