GVC Announces Scholar Athletes & Teams

Commissioner Houser congratulates all of our athletes and teams that have been selected to be honored at the awards luncheon at the spring convention.  The GVC is proud to have these athletes and teams selected to receive the following awards.

From Butte College:

• Dante Jackson who has been named the male Scholar Athlete of the year from the sport of Football
• Megan Weinrich selected to the Honor Roll from Basketball
• Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Football selected as Scholar Teams

From Feather River College:|
Men's Soccer selected as a Scholar Team

From College of the Siskiyous:
Halliday Hubbard who was selected to the Scholar Athlete Honor Roll from the sport of Softball

This is reflective of all the hard work our student athletes put into their academics and all of the guidance and support they receive from our great academic advisors and counselors.
