Bio

Steve Dennis Timmons (born November 29, 1958, in Newport Beach, California) is a former volleyball player from the United States, who represented the USA at three consecutive Summer Olympics starting in 1984. In each tournament he won a medal: two gold (1984 and 1988) and one bronze (1992). Steve played his high school volleyball at Newport Harbor High School before going to Orange Coast College and the University of Southern California.

He co-founded and was president of the company Redsand, which he sold in 2004. He teamed with Karch Kiraly several times, including a stint in Italy playing club volleyball.
