American River got into early foul trouble in the Phillips 66 title game against Cuesta and lost two starters out of the game as they pushed past Cuesta in the 4th quarter to win their first Phillips 66 Classic title. Cuesta outscored the Beavers in each of the first three quarters in a game that was mainly contested in the paint. Cuesta led 40-30 going into the final frame, but with guards Jasiah Sufi and Lakeshia Griffith on the bench, Kinaya Latson stepped in and knocked down three shots, including the game-winner to break a 48-48 tie in the last minute, from beyond the arch. The Beavers new long range threat extended the Cougars' defense too far leading to a 21-point quarter and the win. Latson was named to the all-Tournament team alongside teammates Danielle Biggs and Kesler Johnson- who was named MVP. Cuesta's Courtney Barba was named to the all-Phillips 66 team for the second straight year, becoming only the 16th player to do so in the events 34-year history, and was by teammate Dakota Shinn. Allan Hancock also used a 4th quarter surge to take down Las Positas in the 3rd place game. The defending Tournament Champion Bulldogs outscored the Hawks 18-9 in the final period for a 61-48 victory, while landing Guard Karly Beyers on the all-Tournament team. Pierce road the hot-hand of all-Tournament selection Taneysha Davis-Wood to claimed the Consolation Final over Monterey Peninsula, 78-66. Davis-Wood scored 25 points on the final day to increase her weekend, three-game scoring total to 75 points.
