KAP7 and 3C2A announce extension to water polo relationship
SACRAMENTO - The 3C2A and KAP7 have strengthened their longstanding relationship with an extension of KAP7's role as the official ball supplier for California Community College men's and women's water polo teams, it was announced on Monday.
KAP7 will continue to supply the KAP7 HydroGrip Water Polo Ball for exclusive use at the 3C2A men's and women's regional and state championship tournaments while also supporting the institutions with special pricing throughout the year.
"KAP7 has been a valued sponsor of the 3C2A for more than a decade and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them," said George Mategakis, Director of Championships. "We appreciate their continuing support of our water polo programs and helping them provide a great athletic experience for their student-athletes."
KAP7 shared equal excitement with the extension of their relationship with the 3C2A.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with 3C2A as their official ball for the next 5 years," said Bradley Schumacher, President of KAP7. "KAP7's mission is to support water polo across multiple levels, worldwide. We thank the 3C2A administration and coaches for their support and trust in KAP7. It is a natural extension for us to support the efforts to provide athletes with the opportunity to compete at the highest level. We look forward to seeing the KAP7 Hydrogrip Ball in play throughout the season and at the Championship."
The 3C2A men's and women's water polo seasons are currently underway with the 3C2A Championship tournament scheduled for Nov. 21-23 at Long Beach City College.
