Moorpark moving on up at #7 in this week's State Women's Volleyball Top 25
Nineteen teams switched positions with Moorpark leading that charge by climbing to #7 on this week's CCCWVCA State Top 25 Rankings.
Long Beach went up a spot to #4, American River tumbled back one to #5 while both LA Mission at #8 and Cerritos at #10 entered the elite top 10.
The North conference races show leaders in #19 Solano in the Bay Valley (7-0), #3 Sierra in the Big (12-1), #2 Fresno City in the Central Valley (12-0), unranked Monterey Peninsula and Hartnell tied in the Coast North (7-1), #18 San Mateo and West Valley tied in the Coast South (7-1), and #9 Feather River running away in the Golden Valley (7-0).
In the South, #23 San Bernardino Valley leads in the Inland Empire Athletic (10-1), #11 Orange Coast and Saddleback tied in the Orange Empire (10-1), #6 San Diego Mesa clinching the Pacific Coast Athletic title (13-0), #14 Mt. San Antonio in the South Coast North (4-0), Cerritos in the South Coast South (5-0), Moorpark in the Western State North (9-1), and #17 Santa Monica and #21 Canyons tied in the Western State South (8-1).

- SAN JOAQUIN DELTA, Big 8, 22-3: The Mustangs lost to Sierra in four, then swept Modesto. Injuries or not, Delta has the state's top RPI. Emily Vickers tops the team with 56 aces. NorCal #1; Last Week's State Rank: #1
- FRESNO CITY, Central Valley, 22-4: The Rams' CVC win streak continues at 188, the current overall win streak now at 15, and sets string won of 22 after sweeping Columbia. - SIERRA, Big 8, Big 8, 23-4: With their win over Delta, the Wolverines have all but earned at least a tie for the Big 8 title. Their sweep over Folsom Lake was their ninth win in a row. Jordyn Deter is third in the state with 72 aces. NorCal: #3; Last Week's State Rank: #3
- LONG BEACH CITY, South Coast South, 18-1: The Vikings swept East Los Angeles and LA Harbor. Enaya Vaielua has 29 aces. LBCC shoots up a slot behind its SoCal #1 RPI. SoCal #1; Last Week's State Rank: #5
- AMERICAN RIVER, Big 8, 21-4: The Beavers were stretched to five sets v. unranked Cosumnes River, winning the fifth game 15-6, for their sixth consecutive victory. Sophia MacPherson has 49 aces. ARC slips a position. NorCal #4; Last Week's State Rank: #4
- SAN DIEGO MESA, Pacific Coast Athletic, 18-1: The Olympians extended their win streak to 12 with sweeps over San Diego City and MiraCosta. Halen Kiefer has 42 aces. SoCal: #2; Last Week's State Rank: #6
- MOORPARK, Western State North, 16-4: The Raiders score 4-set wins over Ventura and Santa Barbara City and have won six straight. Grace Hazelton was a State Player of the Week and leads the team with 57 aces. Moorpark climbs two slots.SoCal #3; Last Week's State Rank: #9
- LA MISSION, Western State North, 23-2: The Eagles defeated Allan Hancock in four, then swept Ventura as it eyes a rematch v. Moorpark on Nov. 13 where a win could allow them to share the WSC North title. Rio Sandaiji is fourth in the state with 67 aces. Mission picks up two spots. SoCal #4; Last Week's State Rank: #10
- FEATHER RIVER, Golden Valley, 23-7: The Golden Eagles upped their GVC win streak to 70 in sweeping Shasta after also putting the broom on Solano. Maya Cann is the state leader in aces with 75. The South push drops FRC a position. NorCal #5; Last Week's State Rank: #8
- CERRITOS, South Coast South, 16-2: The Falcons swept Pasadena City and El Camino to up their win streak to 12. Monserrat Rodriguez has 35 aces. Cerritos hikes a step into the top 10. SoCal #5; Last Week's State Rank: #11
- ORANGE COAST, Orange Empire, 18-2: The Pirates avenged their only OEC loss to Riverside City by winning in four. They have an 8-match win streak but saw a 22 straight set mark ended during that victory. Jordan Packer has 50 aces. OCC leaps two spaces. SoCal #6; Last Week's State Rank: #13
- GROSSMONT, Pacific Coast Athletic, 16-8: The Griffins were shockingly swept by Palomar and dropped into a tie for third in the PCAC. Norma Ramirez has 42 aces. Grossmont falls five spots. SoCal #7; Last Week's State Rank: #7
- SANTA BARBARA CITY, Western State North, 16-5: The Vaqueros swept Cuesta, then lost to Moorpark in four and drop to third in the difficult WSC North. Valeria Bellodas has 46 aces. SBCC trips down a ladder rung. SoCal #8; Last Week's State Rank: #12

- SANTA MONICA, Western State South, 15-7: The Corsairs have a 3-0 week in defeating Antelope Valley in four, then sweeping both Bakersfield and Citrus. The WSC South title comes down to the showdown with Canyons on Nov. 6. Annah Legaspi was a State Player of the Week and leads team with 56 aces. SMC falls a spot. - CANYONS, Western State South, 13-8: The Cougars come up with huge 5-set win over Bakersfield (lost in five v. the Renegades in the first round of conference) after sweeping Glendale for their sixth consecutive triumph. - SAN MATEO, Coast South, 17-6: The Bulldogs swept Ohlone and San Jose City to up their win streak to six. - SOLANO, Bay Valley, 21-5: The Falcons BVC streak stretches to 66 matches with a sweep Contra Costa, but a 20-set, 8-match win streak was snapped earlier in the week in a 3-set loss to Feather River.
