WALNUT - Seeded No. 3 in the 3C2A Southern California Regionals, host Mt. San Antonio College (25-4) came up short against No. 14 San Bernardino Valley College, 59-51, in a second-round game on Saturday, March 2.
The game got off to a slow start with Mt. SAC holding a 2-0 lead until the Wolverines (21-9) connected on a three-pointer with 13:24 to play in the first half. The Mounties tied the game at three on a free throw by Jon McCullough at the 12:20 mark, but SBVC took control from there and held the lead the rest of the game en route to the win.
