CCCWVCA selects Greenwood and Johnson as Players of the Week; Irvine Valley, Gavilan and El Camino remain 1-2-3 in rankings
PASADENA - Middle blocker Destiny Greenwood from Solano College and middle blocker Lily Johnson from Orange Coast College have been named the CCCWVCA Northern California and Southern California Players of the Week, respectively, it's been announced.
In Solano’s three matches last week, Greenwood powered 51 kills and a .336 hitting percentage. She added 18 blocks (six solos) and 16 digs. In a 4-set win over Shasta, Greenwood recorded a rare type of double-double with 23 kills and 10 blocks.

Johnson hit an impressive .478 in leading OCC to Orange Empire Conference wins over Riverside and Saddleback. She totaled 25 kills, including a performance of 15 kills, 10 digs, four blocks and three aces in the 5-set victory over the Tigers.
