First Edition of 3C2A Men’s Wrestling Rankings Released

The first edition of the 3C2A Men's Wrestling rankings has been released with Mt. San Antonio College earning the top spot as a team while four individuals from their squad were voted No. 1 in their weight class. 

Despite a 6-2 record to start the season, Mt. SAC looks ready to dominate again. The Mounties showed their true potential with a 51-0 win over No. 7 ranked Rio Hondo in their first conference dual of the year. 

Fresno City comes in at No. 2 with a 2-1 record after defeating conference opponents Skyline and Chabot by a combined score of 97-12. The Rams also placed first in the David Pacheco Invitational and the Modesto Invitational while taking second at the Lemoore College Tournament. 

The Sacramento City Panthers are ranked third after a couple of fifth place tournament finishes to start the year before claiming the top spot at the Santa Ana College Invite. 

Modesto follows right behind them with a trio of top three tournament finishes to begin the season while Palomar takes the fifth spot with a 3-1 start. 

Rounding out the top 10 are Cerritos, Rio Hondo, Bakersfield, Victor Valley and Lemoore.
