SAN MATEO -- Mariah Elzy had 20 points and nine rebounds to lead six College of San Mateo players who scored in double figures as the Bulldogs ran past visiting Ohlone College, 90-37, in a Coast Conference North women’s basketball game Friday evening. Three CSM players had impressive double-doubles.

ELZY SCORES 20, 3 HAVE DOUBLE-DOUBLES AS CSM BEATS OHLONE BY 53 POINTS, 90-37
SAN MATEO -- Mariah Elzy had 20 points and nine rebounds to lead six College of San Mateo players who scored in double figures as the Bulldogs ran past visiting Ohlone College, 90-37, in a Coast Conference North women's basketball game Friday evening.
Three CSM players had impressive double-doubles. Marina Koloamatangi had 12 points and was the top rebounder with 16. Corryne Millet had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Taylor Cormier had 13 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, and two steals. She was 3-of-4 in 3-point shooting. Sophia Leon had 12 points. Gabby Jajeh scored ten and also had three steals and four assists.
The Bulldogs (13-6, 2-3 Coast North) led, 31-6, after one quarter and, 53-12, at the half. Ohlone fells to 0-15, 0-5.
It was San Mateo's third highest point output of the season and easily the largest victory margin (53 points). Last month the Bulldogs beat Butte, 104-78, and topped Shasta by at 36-point margin, 82-46.
Next: San Mateo, one game out of second place, closes out the first half of Coast North play on Wednesday (Jan. 27) at co-second San Jose CC (8-11, 3-2) at 5 p.m. CSM will open the second half of conference play on Feb. 3, hosting Skyline at 5:30 p.m.
