Pitcher Josh Moore and outfielder Tyler Kaim were the Falcon heroes as the home team defeated Los Medanos 6-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Field. Moore became the first pitcher in FLC's brief history to pitch a complete-game shutout as he scattered five hits over nine innings while recording 18 of the 27 outs on ground balls. Kaim was the offensive star for the Falcons collecting three hits, none bigger than his fifth inning grand slam to left field that broke open a close 2-0 game. Kale Leach, Charlie Harbor, and Joey Smith all chipped in with two hits apiece for the Falcons. The win was a big one for the Falcons as it tightened up the BVC standings; FLC (12-5) now sits one game behind Los Medanos (13-4) and 1-1/2 behind Laney (13-3) with seven to play.
