Baseball Upended by Napa Valley in Series Opener

Napa, Calif. - Despite a pair of late runs, the Solano baseball team was upended by Napa Valley, 6-5, in the series opener on Tuesday afternoon.

At the plate, freshman Zion Judkins went 2-for-4 with a run, tallying a double and a triple. Three other Falcons earned a double, while five counted a RBI.

Freshman Richard Mealey (1-5) was charged with the loss after a six-inning outing, allowing eight hits and striking out four.

Solano (8-18, 5-5) continues the series against Napa Valley on Thursday, Apr. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at home.
