NAIL-BITER: Fullerton College Hosted Saddleback College Wednesday night losing the game in the final seconds 57-56.

Down 40-30 with 11:22 left in the game, the Hornets crawled out of a hole to tie it up 46-46 at the 3:53 mark.

FC went up on the Gauchos 54-49 with 1:04 left.

Saddleback came back on four straight free throws going up Fullerton 55-54.

FC's Irma Urzua hit two free throws giving the Hornets a one point lead, but Saddleback's Myishia Watkins hit a clutch shot under the basket with 8 seconds left giving the Gauchos the lead for good. The Hornet's  Amber Washington put back a shot off of a missed jumper. The shot went through the hoop, but it was too late.

Washington had a heck of a game scoring 17 points, bringing down 16 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.  Andrya Ventura scored 13 points with 9 rebounds, and a steal. Tatiana Scott dropped in 12 points, had 7 assists, and 5 boards.  Stephanie Drayer put up 9 points with 9 rebounds.
