San Antonio College (12-1, 1-0), wins No. 11 and 12 of the season came on Friday, March 1, in Palm Springs as the Mounties downed College of the Desert, 5-0, in a South Coast Conference match and MiraCosta College, 4-1, in a non-conference contest. The victories extend Mt. SAC's winning streak to nine.
Off to their best start in program history, the Mounties will host an SCC tri-match on Friday, March 8, against Rio Hondo College (9-3, 0-1) and Long Beach City College (6-3, 1-0). Play begins at 10 a.m.

Mt. SAC dominated the Roadrunners (2-10, 0-1), sweeping each pairing matchup in straight sets.
Mountie pairs included Angie Griego/Candace Ceballos (No. 1), Capri Salmon/Elizabeth Ortiz (No. 2), Andrea Brewer/Zyra Green (No. 3), Kyra Miller/Naara Ortega (No. 4), and Eva Becerra/Freda Lei (No. 5).

The Spartans (4-4) were able to capture a team point by taking the No. 4 pairing in straight sets, but it wasn't enough to derail the Mounties who won each of the other pairings, also in straight sets.
