City Gets 3-1 Win Over Miramar
The Knights got back into the win column by taking down Miramar, 3-1, at Harry West Gym on Friday night. Allison Wygal had 11 kills and 15 digs, while Aamori Daniels led the team with 13 kills in the victory.

The Knights struggled at the start of the first set as they fell behind, 10-3, but slowly chipped away at Miramar's lead and finally took the lead at 19-18. City then outscored the Jets, 6-2, to win the set, 25-21.
City carried that momentum over to the second set and scored six of the first eight points to grab a 6-2 lead. Miramar, however, got to within a point at 21-20. After a Miramar error, Cordelia Gipson served three straight aces to give the Knights a 25-20 win.
Miramar got the best of City in the third set as the Jets went on to extend the match to a fourth set with a 25-16 win in the third.
The Knights recovered well in the fourth set and took control midway through it. They were up 10-9, but extented that lead to 15-10, and eventually went on to take the set, 25-18, and the match.
Libero Cassie Stevens led the Knights with 20 digs, which marks the second time this season she's recorded at least 20.
Tayen Orr finished with eight kills and Gipson dished out 22 assists.
