Knights Extend Win Streak to Five

Aamori Daniels had another strong game with 16 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. She has recorded seven double-doubles so far this season.
Maddox Weisskopft scored a season-best 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
The Knights knocked down a season-high 11 three-pointers, including five in the first quarter, but they were only ahead by two after 10 minutes. The Knights then cooled off in the second quarter as they shot only 15%, while El Camino shot 50%, but the score was tied 34-34 at halftime.
San Diergo City held El Camino to 23.1% from the field in the third quarter and hit another three 3s to help open up a 7-point lead going into the fourth quarter.
The Knights went on a 18-7 run in the first seven minutes of the fourth to extend their lead to 18 and secure their fifth win in a row.
Maldonado and Daniels each scored six points in the fourth, while Weisskopf added five to help the Knights take control.
It was their last non-conference game of the season and the Knights won't play again for nearly a month. They will start the PCAC season at home against Imperial Valley on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5 p.m.
