FREMONT – No. 22 state-ranked Ohlone College bounced back from a tough loss against Cañada College on Friday with an 83-70 Coast Conference North Division victory at home against College on San Mateo.
Wednesday night's win improved the Renegades to 14-3 overall and 2-1 in the Coast North standings.
Anthony Lacy led Ohlone with 21 points and 7 rebounds while Amos Hodgson had 16 points and a pair of steals. Michael Fastion added 8 points and 7 rebounds, Omar Babikir contributed 5 points and 10 assists, and Sam Manzo chipped in with 9 points and 3 boards.
The Renegades will face a tough challenge in their next contest. Ohlone travels to No. 2 City College of San Francisco on Friday (Jan. 17) for a 7 p.m. Coast North game.
