TORRANCE, Calif. – The entire Santa Barbara City College women's basketball team contributed to the stat sheet as the No. 23 Vaqueros downed the Riverside City College Tigers 80-55 in the last game of the El Camino College Christmas Crossover.

Kaylee Bosetti scored nine points and contributed 11 assists, Kaylee Lawson scored a team-high 17 points, and Aariah Fox chipped in 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Isis Poteet earned a double-double in her fifth straight contest, posting 13 points, 13 rebounds (seven offensive), four steals and a block.

"We had multiple players score in double figures," said head coach Sandrine Krul. "We had 29 steals tonight so our press was on and we had 28 assists."

The Vaqueros trailed after the first period 22-21. But in the second period, they would open up a 20-point lead by outscoring the Tigers 31-10.

Sierra Jewell added nine points off the bench, sparking the offensive boom in the second period. "She went three-for-four in the second quarter - because they won the first quarter -  and she came in and hit three 3-pointers back-to-back," said Krul. "So that got us going."

Santa Barbara held the edge on the glass, outrebounding Riverside 49-34. "It's our rebounding," said Krul. "Everybody is on the offensive glass [...] and we're just playing like a team."

The Vaqueros padded their lead throughout the second half with contributions from the entire roster.

"Every night - and this is really important - every time we played the past 11 games, it's always been someone else stepping up," said Krul. "We don't rely on just one player. We rely on all 14 players and that's really important."

The Vaqueros play again on Thursday, Dec. 20 in the Fullerton College Holiday Crossover when they take on No. 22 Citrus College.
