BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College women's soccer team and the Glendale College Vaqueros battled to a 1-1 draw at home.

The Renegades struck first when Emily Vincent scored unassisted in the 33rd minute, giving them a 1-0 edge. BC continued to apply pressure, generating 13 shots, 11 of which were on target, but Glendale's goalkeeper was formidable, making 10 saves.

The Vaqueros found the equalizer in the 73rd minute through Alyssa Araya, leveling the score. Bakersfield's Mercedes Ramirez was steady in goal, recording three saves, including two crucial stops late in the game to secure the draw.

The Renegades have one last regular season road game on Tuesday at Citrus and will celebrate their sophomores on Friday, November 15th at 12:30 against West LA.
