GCC Women's Soccer ties L.A. Valley 3-3 Nov. 5 and Bakersfield 1-1 Nov, 8; now 6-9-4 overall and 2-7-3 in WSC
A snapshot of the 2024 season for the GCC Women's Soccer Team unfolded in the WSC game against L.A. Valley College Tuesday Nov. 5 at Sartoris Field as Glendale took a two-goal lead in the second half only to surrender two late goals in a 3-3 tie.  They also tied Bakersfield 1-1 Nov. 8 and the Lady Vaqs are now 6-9-4 overall and 2-7-3 in WSC play.
 
Gianna Mor scored in the first half to give GCC a 1-0 lead and Jordan Mollareza scored two second half goals, both assisted by Luisa Hilario, to help extend the lead to 3-1 before Valley rallied to secure the tie. Liliana Reynoso had five saves for Glendale. Against Bakersfield, Alyssa Araya scored for Glendale and Ainsley Stephenson had 10 saves.
 
GCC hosts West L.A, College at 3 pm Tuesday Nov. 11 and Citrus College Friday Nov.15 where its sophomores will be honored before the game.
