Renegades pick up big 85-37 win over Gavilan

FREMONT – Tia Stevenson posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 steals to help lead the Ohlone College women's basketball team to an 85-37 win over visiting Gavilan College on Tuesday.
After a close opening quarter, the Renegades outscored Gavilan 36-5 in the second to put the game out of reach.
Stevenson nearly had a triple-double as she added 8 assists and 7 rebounds to her big night. Thader Set totaled 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 5 steals while Mahek Dillion came through with 13 points and 7 boards. Lavina Sanft posted 12 points and 7 rebounds.
With the win, Ohlone improved to 3-6 overall. The Renegades will take some time off for the Thanksgiving break and will be back in action on Dec. 6 when they begin a two-day trip to Southern California. Ohlone will play at Los Angeles Mission College on Friday at 7 p.m. and heads to Oxnard College for a 6 p.m. game on Saturday.
