The FC baseball squad was shut out at home 5-0 on Saturday by Southwestern College.

Taking on two losses earlier in the week against San Diego Mesa (10-9) and No. 13 Glendale (9-3), the Hornets took their third consecutive loss on Saturday knocking the overall record to 10-6 overall. With a 13-6 loss to another OEC team in Saddleback on Thursday, the Jaguars bounced back with a win today bumping their record to 7-6.

The Jaguar's starting pitcher Andy Canedo (2-1) tossed a complete-game gem against Fullerton only giving up 4 hits on the day with 9 K's. 

Southwestern put up a single run in the second through sixth innings creating a picket fence across the scoreboard.

For FC, 4 hits were had by RJ Vanderhook (single and double) Kaipo Haole (single) and Dominic Martinez (double). 

Up Next: Fullerton (11-5 overall) travels through the Grapevine this coming Tuesday, March 1st when they play at Bakersfield College. The first pitch goes out at 2:00 pm.
