#23 Ohlone Men's Basketball Beats #19 Cosumnes River College

FREMONT, CA - Ohlone College Men's Basketball enters the holidays with an 11-1 record after beating #19 Cosumnes River College 71-64 at home Saturday who sits at 10-3. The 11-1 start marks the best record to start the season under head coach Jordan Lee since his start at Ohlone College in 2022. "I told the staff you could go your whole career and never be 11-1," says coach Lee. "This team has gone through its share of adversity and credit to the guys we have gotten through it together. We have a resilient team that really cares about each other so when a teammate goes down, we rally around them."
The Renegades have already had nine different players enter the starting lineup in their twelve games so far and eleven have scored double digit points showing a great deal of depth throughout the roster. Despite being the 11th highest scoring team in the state, the Renegades do not have a single player listed on the top 125 scorers in the CCCAA. The team's balanced offense has been marked with 18 assists per game (13th in the state) and the #8 rated defense in the state according to Synergy Sports.
Ohlone College travels to College of San Mateo on Decemeber 30th and 31st to participate in the San Mateo Winter Classic where they will face two ranked programs in #28 College of the Siskiyous and #25 College of the Redwoods.
