OEC OPENER LANDS A WIN OVER THE PIRATES

The Hornets pulled off a 5-4 win at Orange Coast College on Tuesday afternoon opening Orange Empire Conference-play.

Fullerton battled in doubles sweeping the Pirates in all three matches. Sebastian Koster/Felix Jayamaha won 8-6, David Gutierrez/Michael Lumang won 8-1, and Matthew Doria/Joseph Chatters took their match 8-4.

In singles, the Hornets remained hot with Sebastian Koster wining 7-5, 6-1. David Gutierrez clinched the match winning 6-0, 6-3.

Up Next: FC (2-1 overall, 1-0 OEC) will play another OEC match this Thursday, February 20th when Saddleback comes to the Fullerton College campus. Matches will start at 2:00 pm.
