The FC women's soccer team traveled up to Los Angeles Harbor College on Tuesday night for a non-conference match that ended in a 3-3 tie.
Fullerton scored the game's first goal in the 30th minute on a shot by sophomore Danielle Narmi with the assist coming from Lya Carcamo. Amyhra Umar booted in another goal for FC in the 40th minute putting her team up 2-0.
With time running out in the first half, LA Harbor snuck in a late goal cutting into Fullerton's lead with a score of 2-1 by halftime.
The Seahawks tied the game up in the 54th minute, and then took a 3-2 lead by the 80th minute.
Down a goal with time quickly running out, the Hornets were doing their best taking good shots but barely missing. A late foul by LA Harbor gave FC the chance to tie it up on a penalty kick that successfully sailed in from the foot of Gicela De La Rosai.
Fullerton goalie Kyra Mangini had a busy night with 8 saves in 90 minutes of play.
Up Next: The Hornets (0-2-1 overall) will have their home opener this Friday, September 13th when Long Beach City College comes to town for another non-conference match at 3:00 pm.
