SAN MATEO – In a season of highs, the Ohlone College women's volleyball team picked up likely its most impressive win of the year on Friday.
After looking overmatched and dropping the first two sets at No. 12 state-ranked College of San Mateo, the Renegades regrouped to rally for an amazing 3-2 Coast Conference victory over a stunned Bulldogs squad.
Ohlone fell 11-25, 13-25 before bouncing back to take the final three sets 25-23, 25-20, and 15-13. The victory extended the Renegades' winning streak to 11 matches. Ohlone has an impressive 5-2 record in five-set matches this season.
Friday's victory at San Mateo improved Ohlone to 15-2 overall and 2-0 in Coast Conference play.
