Palm Desert, Calif. – The Mt. San Antonio College Men's Tennis Team secured a decisive 9-0 victory over College of the Desert in a conference match on Tuesday, February 18. With the win, the Mounties even their record at 2-2, while the Roadrunners remain winless at 0-2.

In doubles play, Mt. SAC secured all three matches. Zayniddin Khusainov and Jarred Millan took down Travis Pimentel and Chandra Ishikawa 8-3, while Anthony Alcaraz and Ephember Alfaro Arias battled to an 8-6 win over Nathaniel Jimenez and Matthew Rubio. Micah Welch and Luke Jensen claimed a walkover victory.

The Mounties continued their dominance in singles competition. Jensen cruised past Pimentel 6-1, 6-1, and Millan edged out Ishikawa in a grueling three-set match (6-3, 7-6, 7-5). Khusainov overwhelmed Jimenez 6-0, 6-1, while Lopez secured a hard-fought 6-2, 2-6, 11-9 win over Rubio. Welch shut out Jonathan Daniel Cruz Gonzalez 6-0, 6-0, and Anthony Ramirez was awarded a walkover victory.
