The VC women's tennis took on Riverside on the road Friday, falling to the Tigers 9-0. Missing a player, VC dropped the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles matches by default, leading to their shutout loss. Nicole Iannacone and Bella Moga played their No. 1 doubles match to an 8-3 score while Moga went to a tiebreaker in her No. 2 singles match before falling.
Bella DeRosa and Chrystelle Aguiar dropped their No. 2 doubles match 8-2.
Iannacone played up to No. 1 singles while Aguiar dropped her No. 4 singles match 6-2, 6-4.
The Pirates will return to Western State Conference play on Tuesday March 5 hosting Santa Monica.
