BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College women's volleyball team are moving on to the SoCal Regionals, round 2 against the #1 team in the South Region, Long Beach City College.
BC earned a commanding victory over #17 MiraCosta, winning 3-1 (25-18, 25-17, 21-25, 25-10) at the Gil Bishop Sports Center on Saturday, November 23rd.
Highlights from Saturday:

Stevie Yursik led the Renegades with 16 kills while adding 12 digs.

Kamryn Briggs contributed 14 kills with a .317 hitting percentage and recorded 20 total points, including a match-high four service aces.

Alexandra Watts finished with 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage. She added three aces and four block assists.

Chloe Comstock facilitated the offense with 24 assists and added three aces, while Taylor Drake chipped in 14 assists and 12 digs.
Bakersfield's defense collected 84 digs and 12 block assists.
The Renegades will travel to Long Beach City College to take on the Vikings at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 26th. The winner of the game will play on Saturday, November 30th for round 3 to take on the winner of Santa Monica and Palomar College.
