Calling the GCC Men's Basketball Team a work in progress might be an accurate statement as the Vaqueros beat Los Angeles City College 65-57 Wednesday Dec. 4 and fell to Mira Costa College 80-61. Glendale is now 4-6 this season.
In the win over LACC, Freshman Nigel Dickens led GCC with 20 points and eight rebounds and Tyson Jackson added 12 points and six boards. Zane Crawford and Noah Smith had 12 points each and Smith added four assists and three steals.
Glendale has aa week off from non-conference play and has two home games on the slate the following week, Tuesday Dec. 17 against Santa Barbara at 6 pm and Thursday Dec. 19 against L.A. Pierce at 5 pm in the Verdugo Gym.
