The Solano College women's soccer team capped off a successful season with an impressive showing in the playoffs, facing a strong Modesto side. Despite falling 1-0 in a hard-fought battle, the Falcons delivered their best performance of the season when it mattered most.
Against a strong Modesto attack, Solano's defense showed grit and intensity, holding their opponent to just one goal. Goalkeeper Juliana Jacobson stood out with a season-best performance, making an astonishing 24 saves to keep her team within reach throughout the match.
The Falcons' season concluded with an overall record of 10-7-2, including their playoff result. In conference play, Solano secured a strong 7-1 record, finishing in second place. They narrowly missed out on the conference championship, falling in the final seconds of a dramatic title-deciding game.
