Folsom Lake College Falcons Overpower Butte College Roadrunners in 92-51 Victory

The Folsom Lake College Falcons put on an impressive performance, dominating the Butte College Roadrunners with a commanding 92-51 win. From start to finish, the Falcons showcased their offensive strength, balanced scoring, and defensive intensity to claim their first victory of the season.

The game began evenly, with both teams scoring 13 points in the first quarter. However, Folsom Lake turned up the heat in the second quarter, outscoring Butte 27-11 to take a substantial halftime lead. This momentum only grew, as the Falcons scored 26 points in each of the final two quarters while holding Butte to 12 and 15 points, respectively.

Folsom Lake's Athena Brombacher was a standout on the floor, leading the Falcons with 22 points, shooting an efficient 8-12 from the field and 6-7 from the free-throw line. Her performance, complemented by her six rebounds, four steals, and two blocks, anchored the Falcons on both ends of the court.
