AVC Men's Volleyball outlasted the El Camino Warriors 3-2 to win their first conference match of the season. The Marauders were led by Jah'mi Jeter, who had 18 kills and 11 digs. Taysen Ford was close behind with 16 kills. The freshman from Quartz Hill High School also had a team-high 14 digs.
David Carrasco had a game-high 31 assists and 8 digs, while Nile Harrell had 8 kills, and Santiago Vazquez had 5 kills with 4 digs. The back-and-forth battle, 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 21-25, went down to the wire as AVC gained enough momentum to take the fifth and final set 15-12.
The Marauders will next face LA Pierce in a conference matchup on Friday, March 29, at 6:00 pm.
