The Citrus College Women's Volleyball team moved 0-2 on the season as they competed but could not contain the Orange Coast College Pirates who picked up their first win to go 1-1 on the season.
The Owls fell in straight sets (25-12, 25-11, 25-15) but showed signs of improved chemistry in their second game of the season. During the third set the Owls kept it close managing to win multiple rallies before the Pirates went on a scoring run to end the game.
Citrus College was led by Tara Biscan who had four kills and a solo block. Starter Raegen Johnson had five digs, three kills and four assists while Isabel Luna chipped in 10 digs, five assists and a service ace.
The Owls will have two chances to get their first win of the season this Saturday, August 31st, as they travel to LA Mission College to take on Mt. San Jacinto at 1 p.m. and Victor Valley at 6 p.m.
