Seeded #2 for the South Coast Conference Tournament at Mt. San Antonio College, the Cerritos College men's water polo team received a bye in the first round. In their semifinal game on Friday, the Falcons recorded a 15-10 win over El Camino College to advance to the championship game. It marks the fourth consecutive season Cerritos reached the finals, with the team looking for their first title since 2016. Facing top-seeded Long Beach City College, the Falcons dropped an 11-9 decision to come in second place.

Cerritos vs. El Camino: Locked in a tight 5-3 match through the first two quarters, the Falcons opened the second half with three straight goals and extended their lead to 12-6 by the end of the stanza. Six different players scored in the quarter, with sophomore Tim Robles (Schurr HS) scoring twice. He led off the fourth quarter with his third goal of the game, as the team held on for the win. Sophomore Jacob Colon (Schurr HS) led the team with four goals and four assists, while Robles (three steals, four exclusions drawn) was also key to the win. Sophomore goalkeeper Diego Campos (Downey HS) turned away a season-high 16 shots and also registered four steals. In the game, eight different players scored at least one goal.
Cerritos vs. Long Beach City: It was a back and forth game in the first period, as the teams combined to score nine goals. The Vikings opened an 8-5 lead in the second quarter and led 8-6 at intermission. neither team could find the back of the net in a rare scoreless quarter, with the fourth showing familiar signs of the way the match started. A pair of goals by Robles to start the fourth quarter tied the game at 8-8 with 5:52 remaining. However, Long Beach City was able to keep the Falcons at bay and scored three of the final four goals of the game. Robles scored six of the team's goals, while adding four steals on defense. Campos registered 14 saves in the match.
