In each of their three games this season, the Cerritos College women's soccer team has been in position to pull out a win. However, for the Falcons, they have come up short on each occasion, with the latest being a tough 1-0 setback at the hands of host San Joaquin Delta College on Sunday. Cerritos (0-2-1) returns to action on Tuesday for a 2:00 p.m. game at San Bernardino Valley College (1-2-0).

All three of their games this season have been scoreless at halftime, with the Mustangs able to slip a shot past freshman goalkeeper Trinidad Arizmendi (El Rancho HS) for the game's lone goal. The Falcons played a tight defensive game, and turned away San Joaquin Delta in multiple occasions.

Offensively, Cerritos collected their three shots in the first half, with only one of them on goal. Freshman Ariana Rivera (Long Beach Millikan HS) had the best chance of scoring for the Falcons.
