
SAN FRANCISCO – Amaya Jarzombek posted a hat trick with 3 goals while eight different Rams scored in a big 11-0 City College of San Francisco win over visiting Gavilan College on Friday to open Coast Conference play.
No. 12 state-ranked CCSF surged to its seventh straight victory. The Rams improved to 7-1-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the Coast Conference North Division standings.
Jarzombek scored one of the Rams' five goals in the opening half. She completed the hat trick with goals in the 45th and 54th minutes.
Chelsea Sandoval scored twice and the Rams got single goals from Angelina St. Denis, Catherine Cordova Bobadilla, Nelzy Dominguez, Paige Pineda-Aliamus, Julieta Juarez-Mendoza, and Ashley Rabara.
Sydney Grundland Lanuza had two of the Rams 10 assists in the contest. Bailey Perales was solid in goal, posting CCSF's third straight shutout and fifth overall of the season.
San Francisco will look to extend its streak on Tuesday (Oct. 8) when the Rams host De Anza College in a 4 p.m. Coast Conference game.
