Riverside City College grabbed its fourth-straight win Friday afternoon, downing Pasadena City College 72-62.
The Tigers improve to 6-3 on the year, while the Lancers drop to 1-7 overall.
N'Dya Parks led the Tigers with 26 points (11-for-19) and 21 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the year. Ariel Perkins also had a double-double with 15 points (5-for-15) and 11 boards, while Talia Washington chipped in 19 points (7-for-20).
PCC held a 40-36 lead at halftime, but RCC came out ready to turn things around in the third. The Tigers outscored the Lancers 17-to-7 to take control of the game.
Washington drained a big three to put Riverside in front 43-42, before Parks went coast to coast to give the Tigers a 53-47 lead heading into the final 10 minutes. Parks scored the first four points of the fourth to increase the upper hand to double digits and RCC never looked back.
Riverside closes out the Santa Ana Tournament on Saturday against San Diego Mesa, tipping off at 2 p.m.
