
SAN FRANCISCO – City College of San Francisco continues to cling to a narrow lead in the Coast Conference North Division standings thanks to a 2-0 win over visiting Hartnell College on Friday.
The Rams are the lone unbeaten team remaining in the Coast North with a 5-0-1 record. They hold a narrow half game lead over second-place West Valley College at 5-1-0 with five games to play.
On Friday, CCSF goalkeeper Bailey Perales totaled a pair of saves to help lead her squad to its second straight shutout and 10th of the season.
Kendall Carr scored in the 22nd minute off the assist from Sydney Grundland Lanuza and Paige Pineda-Aliamus sealed the Rams' victory with her goal in the 58th minute thanks to another assist from Grundland Lanuza.
For Pineda-Aliamus, it was her team-leading 15th goal of the season.
The Rams are unbeaten over their last 12 games and improved to 11-1-2 overall. CCSF travels to Chabot College for its next game on Tuesday (Oct. 29).
