Men's Basketball picked up an 88-70 road win against Riverside City College last night.
Citrus College improves to 3-1 on the season while Riverside City College goes to 3-2.
The Owls faced some early adversity in Riverside last night as the Tigers went on a 11-0 run to make the score 11-22 midway through the first half. Citrus responded with a 10-0 scoring run of their own late in the first half to regain and add to their lead before halftime as the score was 44-36.
Citrus College pulled away in the second half, with their largest lead of 23 points coming with under five minutes remaining in the game.
The Owls were led by Luis Martin with 24 points, six rebounds and three assists. KJ Perry scored 23 points on 8-14 from the field while adding four assists and three steals. Brady Cook scored 10 points off the bench and grabbed 6 boards.
Citrus College scored 32 points off turnovers compared to the Tigers 17 and outscored RCC 58-40 in points in the paint to pick up the win.
The Owls will travel to Allan Hancock College this Friday, November 15th to take on the Bulldogs at 5 p.m.
