Antelope Valley College Baseball split a two-game series against City College of San Francisco, winning Friday's game 4-3 but losing Saturday's matchup 5-1.
Game one went scoreless until the bottom of the 6th inning when Joel Calderin Serrano hit a sacrifice fly to score Cody Turner. Turner made it 2-0 in the 7th with a 2-RBI triple. The Rams responded with 3 8th-inning runs to tie the game. In the bottom of the inning, Mitchell Thoma-Britt scored the winning run on an error. Aidan Jbara went 3-for-4 at the plate, while starter Darren Roberts struck out 5 in just over 6 innings of work. AVC finished with 7 hits and one error.
