The Panther men showed why they are the number one scoring team in the state tonight, topping the 100 mark for the 13th time this season in a 109-88 win over Cerro Coso.
The last time the teams met up Coso came from behind to defeat Chaffey by one point and tonight was the Panthers' opportunity for retribution. In grand style, Chaffey dominated from the first basket to the last, maintaining a double digit lead for much of the game.
Nate Simon his four threes on his way to a game leading 26 points. Brody Davis followed right behind with 25 points including 13 freethrows. Davis had one of the team's two double-doubles with an added 12 rebounds. Uriyah Rojas had 14 points and 10 rebounds. In all, ten Panthers scored in the triple digit victory.
The men complete the regular season 25-3 overall, IEAC Champions (15-1), and the leading scorers in the state averaging 102.4 points per game. 3C2A regional playoff information will be posted this weekend with the Panthers hoping for a home game Saturday, March 2nd.
