Rams extend winning streak to 8 with big win over De Anza

SAN FRANCISCO – City College of San Francisco winning streak is now at eight games after the Rams' 11-0 rout of visiting De Anza College on Tuesday.

It was CCSF's second straight 11-0 win after beating Gavilan College by the identical score on Friday. The Coast Conference victory improved the Rams to 8-1-1 overall and 8-0 in the Coast Conference North Division standings.

On Tuesday, sophomore Paige Pineda-Aliamus led the Rams with 5 goals. Amaya Jarzombek scored twice and CCSF got single goals from Angelina St. Denis, Anahi Gomez, Chelsea Sandoval, and Ashley Rabara.

Bailey Perales (45 minutes) and Elvira Motuapuaka (45 minutes) split time in goal in earning the shutout. It was the Rams' fourth straight shutout and sixth of the season.

The Rams are back in action next Tuesday (Oct. 15) when they travel to West Valley College for a big Coast Conference game. WVC has won six straight and is 9-3-1 overall with a 3-0 conference mark.
