For the second game in a row, Riverside City College scored first but couldn't hold on in a 9-3 loss at Santa Ana College.
The Tigers drop to 11-22 overall and 3-11 in the Orange Empire Conference, while the Dons improve to 12-18 on the year, 5-9 in conference.
Both teams had six hits in the game, but RCC made three costly errors and couldn't send runners home in the loss.
Sheila Fernanda Cano, Rebeca Razo, Summer Sanders, Alysse Flores, Guadalupe Lemus and Chloe Lockhart had hits for the Tigers.
Riverside and Santa Ana close out the series on Friday on the Tigers' diamond at 2 p.m.
